Our second Breakfast Business Club was held on Tuesday 28 April at Grenville Court: Our guests had the opportunity to network and talk business before the presentation by Jeffrey Smith, our Managing Partner. The changes at 31st March 2009 in the tax allowances for leased and purchased cars was discussed. Many businesses especially those that hold their vehicles for a short period will be affected. Jeffrey also touched on items contained in the Budget, such as ways to minimise the impact of the planned 50% tax rate and changes to pensions and personal allowances. He finished by bringing to everyone's attention the change in the rules relating to furnished holiday lets, an area of discussion in the previous Breakfast Club Meeting.
