Our first, and very successful, Breakfast Business Club was held on Tuesday 31 March. It provided the opportunity for dialogue and lively debate, and included a 10-minute briefing by Jeffrey Smith, a Chartered Tax Adviser and our Managing Partner.
Jeffrey talked about types of losses that can arise and the options available to best utilise them, including creative accounting techniques and the most recent announcements by HMRC to help small businessmen.
Jeffrey also touched on property and the various exemptions from capital taxes arising on sale.
