Independent Assurance Reports

Several of our private company clients are now exempt from a statutory audit, and whilst they always have the option to have a full audit, have elected to have an independent assurance report, which costs less.  The report does not give the assurance of an audit but it does give some reassurance to third parties that the accounts are accurate.  Companies might find the report useful when seeking additional finance, looking to expand their customer base, or to improve their credit rating.

Some types of organisation require the auditors to have specialist knowledge to be able to audit them correctly, efficiently and at the same time add value. Academies

Eacotts has a highly experienced team who can provide a fast and responsive service to schools which are considering whether to become academies.

Solicitors

We act for a number of legal practices and are used to dealing with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Solicitors Code of Conduct. We are able to offer a wide range of services not only to the partners /members of the legal practice, but also to the team members.

We also offer various services to assist with solicitors' own clients including taxation support and advice and business valuations and other accounting help in matrimonial disputes.

We work closely with solicitors in providing services on behalf of their clients including forensic accounting, and inheritance taxation.

Recycling industry - independent accountants report

We have also been active in the recycling industry by helping businesses meet their reporting obligations within the tight deadlines imposed by under the 'Producer Responsibility Regulations' and the 'Waste Electrical and New Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations', since their inception.

Eacotts has assisted its clients in receipt of ‘Regional Selective Assistance in providing the required ‘Independent Accountant’ reports to the relevant agencies in England, Scotland and Wales and has recently completed an assignment for a major online retailer for a new distribution centre in Wales.
