At Eacotts we take the broad overview necessary to create, build and maintain personal wealth and minimise personal taxation.We will provide advice on income, capital growth, creating income in retirement, pension options; all the while keeping tax considerations and protecting your estate from risk firmly in focus. We will:

• review your  assets and income sources to ensure that effective use is made of allowances, rate bands and Capital Gains Tax reliefs and exemptions. Where appropriate this would be extended to include other family members, frequently spouse and children but often considering parents’ circumstances can be relevant particulary for wealthy familes, non domiciles and families in business together.
• identify the key dates in the year when decisions regarding tax need to be made. These would typically be just before your accounting year end, your company’s year end and 6-8 weeks before the end of each tax year.
• at your request, provide valuations of shares, goodwill etc and prepare projected Capital Gains Tax computations.
• review properties owned and consider main residence nominations
• review your likely Inheritance Tax liabilities, discuss how these might be reduced and make a plan to take advantage of exemptions
• recommend suitable structures or investments to reduce exposure to taxation
• help to maximise the advantages of non UK resident or non UK domiciled status. We offer detailed tax planning advice to individuals becoming UK resident for the first time or returning after a period abroad
• act as your tax agent and provide annual tax compliance services

We will liaise with your stockbroker, solicitor, financial adviser etc. and provide a holistic and proactive service at all times. We offer the same tax compliance and planning services to Trustees.
